Beach Season

Pop

Inspired by an eye-opening, coming of age trip to Thailand, Sam Avant began the Beach Season project in 2014 with the release of the EP “Internet Evening” - which explored the soundcloud era, chillwave and alt-pop genres entwined with Sam’s airy and emotion driven vocals. The record was released in hometown label “Close to Modern” (Calgary, Canada). Soon after, half-Thai friend and collaborator Simon Blitzer, who was raised in Bangkok, joined the project.
